Giovanni is a successful entrepreneur in the IT and telecommunications industry with an extensive track record ranging from leading new ventures to senior management positions in established organizations. Prior to co-founding Trellia, he was a co-founder & VP Product Management of Avantas Networks which was successfully sold to EXFO for $100M in 2001 and is currently operating as EXFO Protocol. In his role at Avantas, Giovanni was responsible for overall strategic product direction, sales & marketing and helped raise over $30M in financing to scale the company to over 120 employees. Prior to this he was Director of Product Management at Positron Fiber Systems (PFS) where he contributed to achieving over $100M in revenues for the SONET/SDH product lines. PFS successfully IPO'd, acquired by Reltec Corp for $200 million US and subsequently acquired Marconi PLC. Giovanni started his career at Nortel where he spent 16 years in progressively senior roles in engineering, product management & marketing. At Nortel his focus was always on introducing and marketing new technologies to Nortel's diverse customer base. Giovanni holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Concordia University and an Executive MBA from Duke University Fuqua School of Business and MIT Sloan School of Management – EDP Program.

Eric Falardeau: CTO & co-founder

Eric brings 16+ years of IT networking and telecommunication solutions development expertise to Trellia. Prior to co-founding the company Eric held a variety of management positions in Marconi's Network Management group. Over eight years he grew a development team to fifty-five individuals, designed a product which was nominated for Product of the Year at SuperCom and provided expert advice to management on network strategy. Prior to Marconi, Eric spent over eight years as a software developer with a focus on large GUI systems, distributed architectures and expert systems.

Daniel Rudich: VP Business Development

Dan's 15+ years of technology related business development, sales and strategic marketing, span new ventures and blue chip organizations. Before joining Trellia, Dan held senior Sales and Marketing roles with CAE, All Law, CNF Mobile Solutions and Iomega providing significant revenue contribution to the business. Dan holds an MBA in Marketing & Business Strategy from Yale.

Nabil Youssef: VP Engineering

Nabil brings 30 years of software engineering and management experience to Trellia. Over his career he has numerous opportunities to scale engineering teams and successfully delivered many products to the market. Prior to Trellia, Nabil was VP Product Development for Crescendo Systems where he managed software development and QA teams while implementing a complete product development process. Prior to Crescendo, he was Director of Software Engineering at Marconi where he grew the team by 400%. Before Marconi, Nabil held positions in Engineering management and product management at ACOM, Nortel Networks, Teleglobe and AES Data.

Raffi Tchakmakjian: Director, Product Management

Raffi joined Trellia in 2004 and is responsible for driving the company's product strategy. He oversees all aspects of Trellia's mobility solutions with a focus on marketing, sales and product development. Raffi brings 10+ years of product management experience in enterprise IT infrastructure, software and data-optical communications. Prior to joining Trellia, Raffi was responsible for expanding EXFO's data product line. Previous to EXFO, he was responsible for creating and patenting innovative solutions at Marconi.

Raffi holds an MBA in Finance and International Business from McGill University as well as an advanced degree in Computer Engineering. He is frequently sought out for his insights at mobile and wireless industry conferences, in particular for his intimate experience with mobility strategies, and has published numerous articles in industry publications.

Jaan Leemet: Director, Network Solutions

Jaan joined Trellia in 2006 to lead the Network Solutions group and to develop Trellia's ecosystem partnerships with security and technology firms. Jaan is responsible for customer service, pre & post sales support and professional services to integrate into complex or specialized environments. His expertise with network management and high availability systems has facilitated the adoption of our solutions into many highly secure and complex enterprise deployments. Jaan's past standards body experience has also allowed him to work extensively with our partners in creating standards for evolving 3G and 4G technologies, including device interface contributions at the WiMax Forum.

Jaan has over 20 years of experience in telecommunications with roles of increased responsibility at technology firms such as Sun Microsystems, Data Radio, Nortel, EXFO, and Sunrise Telecom. His career has focused primarily on wireless protocols, telecommunications, and network management systems for enterprises and carriers/MSOs.

Helen Eric: Director, Finance & HR

Helen brings over 15 years of finance, human resources and operations experience to Trellia. She has held senior finance roles in early stage and large global organizations. Helen was previously at Nortel Networks where she held progressively senior roles in the finance organization. Helen is a Chartered Accountant and is a graduate of both McGill University and Concordia University in Montreal.
