BDC Crosses Security Tipping Point with Trellia Mobile Policy Enforcement

Business Development Bank of Canada leverages mobile policy management solution from Trellia to securely enable Wi-Fi for mobile workers

Montreal, Canada: March 18, 2009 – Trellia Networks (www.trellia.com), a provider of Mobile Policy Management software, today announced that the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) deployed Trellia's solution to enable the secure use of Wi-Fi by its mobile workforce. Prior to deploying Trellia, bank policy required that Wi-Fi be disabled on end-user notebooks in order to avoid risks from eavesdropping, man-in-the-middle attacks or network bridging.
